In this wall of photographs presented as a constellation, I showcase images that are both old and new, taken over the span of ten years. Drawing from personal archives and reviving the habit of capturing ordinary moments in the places where I resided at different times, the work is a collection of photographs that explore the paradoxical nature of the concept of "here" for someone who comes from "elsewhere." "Here" is a fluid, shifting place—one that is reached and felt, whether visible or invisible. This work seeks to touch on ideas of distance, movement, and the concrete physical environments that envelop people. By focusing on personal relationships and narratives, the work becomes a portrait of a family whose sense of place feels fluid and malleable.
